A. Joshua Adedeji — Profile on FridayPosts
Early Life and Foundational Experiences
Adegboyega Joshua Adedeji’s journey into ministry began in his childhood in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, where at the age of six he gave his first drama ministration in the Anglican Church. From that formative experience, he embraced drama as his earliest avenue of service and expression, actively participating in stage performances well before his university years.
As an undergraduate studying Economics at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife (2004–2008), he served in the Redeemed Christian Fellowship (RCF), particularly within the Drama subgroup. While drama was his initial passion, he also functioned as a church usher, Sunday school teacher, and later as an Area Drama Coordinator at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Osun State.
Adegboyega Joshua Adedeji, a prince of the ancient city of Ile-Ife, hails from the Akui Royal Compound, Iremo Quarters, Ile-Ife; he has his root in one of the four Ruling Houses of the ancient city (the cradle of the Yoruba race) – the Oshinkola Royal Family. His is said to be the last child of his parents and spent most of his early years in the city until he became married to his beloved Oluwaseun Omolara Adedeji and they are blessed with children.

-
Further Theological Formation: Following his service year, he completed the Basic Certificate Course (BCC), Leadership Certificate Course (LCC), and Leadership Development Course (LDC) at the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) in Osun State.
