The collation of results by INEC officials at various polling units in Kubwa, a satellite town in Abuja, commenced around 3pm on Saturday.
At polling unit 001A located at Byazhim Roundabout, Kubwa, the Presiding Officer, Mr. Alechenu David, announced that the total number of registered voters was 936.
The unit had two voting points. Elections conducted at the voting points were for councillorship and chairmanship positions.
At voting point one, 47 persons were accredited by the INEC card reader, out which 37 came out successful, while eight failed.
The number of accredited voters whose names were cleared on the voters register was 42.
When the votes were counted for the councillorship position, the Peoples Democratic Party got 19 votes, while the All Progressive Congress scored 21. Two votes were invalid.
For the chairmanship position, still at voting point one, PDP got 17 votes, while the APC scored 26.
At voting point two, 46 voters were accredited by the card reader, 37 were successful, while nine failed. The number of accredited voters whose names were cleared on the voters register was 47.
When the votes were counted for the councillorship position, the APC got 18 votes, while the PDP scored 29. No vote was invalid.
For chairmanship, the APC got 27 votes, while the PDP garnered 20 votes.
The collation exercise was orderly as all party agents at this polling unit joined in the collation exercise and endorsed the results.
