Going forward, I believe Nigerian youths should be more involved in the political process. As a youth myself, I must say that we lack the kind of leaders in this part of the world who can inspire the younger ones to be the best they possibly can. What I see our leaders do best is tell people what they think they want to hear during political campaigns only to do something entirely different when they assume office.
It’s funny that in this country when someone tries to be right and
different, he is considered an oddity, the other does the same old thing, and he is applauded for his mediocrity.
I believe this must be stopped if we are to make progress subsequently. I also believe that the
change we strongly desire isn’t in any person or group, it begins with
every one of us. Let’s all pledge that in whatever we do, we keep moving forward. #ipledgetochange. God bless Nigeria.
