An Abuja-based activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has criticized the Nigeria Police Force for the arrest of activist VeryDarkMan and the harassment of innocent citizens.
He called on the police to prioritize public safety and focus on fighting crime instead of engaging in personal vendettas.
Adeyanju also expressed concerns about the impartiality and fairness of the police, particularly in their dealings with marginalized communities. He urged the police to adopt community-oriented policing strategies that promote inclusivity and build trust with the community.
Adeyanju also demanded a thorough and transparent investigation into the arrest of VeryDarkMan.
