Jose Peseiro, the head coach of the Super Eagles, has acknowledged that Angola deserves to be in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
He emphasized that Angola’s presence in the tournament is not due to luck, as they have demonstrated their capability to reach this stage.
Peseiro also highlighted that Nigeria has scored five goals in four matches so far and expressed his intention to both attack and defend with a full team.
Nigeria will face Angola after defeating Cameroon 2-0 in the round of 16, while Angola secured a 3-0 victory over Namibia.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 6 pm.
