Two French aid workers were killed in a drone attack in southern Ukraine.
French President Emmanuel Macron called the attack “outrageous” and condemned it.
Ukrainian officials confirmed that two French nationals died and three other foreigners were wounded in the attack. Beryslav, a town close to the front line, has been a regular target for Russian drones and artillery.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude for the aid workers’ assistance in his country, stating that “Russian terror knows no boundaries or victims’ nationalities.”
Macron demanded that Russia be held accountable for its crimes.
