Former spokesperson to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina, has claimed that the political enemies of his principal spread negative narratives to tarnish his image. Adesina made this statement during a media conference in Abuja, where he announced the upcoming launch of two significant publications.
The first publication is Adesina’s memoir titled “Working with Buhari: Reflections of a Special Adviser, Media and Publicity (2015-2023)”, which provides insights into the life and leadership of the former president.
The second publication is a five-volume historical compendium titled “Muhammadu Buhari: The Nigerian Legacy (2015-2023)”, edited by Dr. Udu Yakubu, which aims to present an authoritative and comprehensive account of Buhari’s administration.
Adesina emphasized that these publications would combat the false narrative about President Buhari and enable Nigerians to know the real and true Buhari.
The launch event, scheduled for January 16th, will be chaired by General Yakubu Gowon, with President Bola Tinubu as the chief guest.
