Former Nigerian football player, Felix Owolabi, has advised the Super Eagles to focus on playing cohesively when they face Angola in the quarter final of the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
Owolabi, who was a member of the 1980 Green Eagles team that won the AFCON, believes that a solid team spirit will ensure Nigeria’s qualification to the semi-finals.
He noted that although the Super Eagles did not perform well in the group stage, their understanding of each other’s game has improved as the competition has progressed.
Nigeria heads into the game after a 2-0 victory against Cameroon, while Angola defeated Namibia 3-0.
