Following WikiLeaks’ publication earlier this week of classified documents stolen from the CIA, major technology companies, including Apple, Samsung, Microsoft and Cisco, have been scrambling to assess the risks posed to their customers by the revelations. The so-called “Vault 7” leak includes information about methods and tools the CIA crafted to hack into products produced by those companies. A group of commercial tricyclists in Kano have begun offering free rides to commuters, to celebrate the return of President Muhammadu Buhari from medical vacation in London. The Police on Saturday said it had begun 24-hour air surveillance on Abuja-Kaduna highway following an increase of traffic on the road. The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 7, Abuja, Alhaji Salisu Fagge, said in Minna that the measure was part of efforts at ensuring the safety of travellers on the road. Samuel Awoyinfa, Abeokuta The Ogun State Police command says it has arrested a medical doctor, Emmanuel Ogah, for allegedly stabbing his 62- year- old biological mother, Mrs Janet Ogah, to death. The deceased was said to be a food vendor. Kamarudeen Ogundele, Ado Ekiti Gunmen on Wednesday kidnapped a Director in Ekiti State Civil Service, Olaniyi Ibidunmoye, in Ibillo, Edo State, while returning from a pastoral meeting of his church in Abuja. Ibidunmoye is a Director in the Office of Ekiti State Surveyor General and also a pastor in Agape Christian Ministries.
