Former Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, on Sunday, disclosed that he was poisoned at the secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2018. Wike said the poison affected his liver and kidneys, adding that it almost killed him but for God’s intervention. The Middle Belt Forum, MBF, has alleged that the eight years of Nasir El-Rufai as governor of Kaduna State was characterised with massive killings and decimation of Christian-dominated areas of Southern Kaduna. Representatives of the Federal Government and the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, will on Monday, today, resume talks on petrol subsidy removal palliatives.
