Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Sunday appealed to the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to shelve its nationwide strike being planned to protest against the fuel subsidy removal. The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Oluwatomiwa Omolewa as the new chairman of the Park Management System (PMS). The development comes a week after Governor Makinde sacked Mukaila Lamidi (a.k.a. Auxiliary) as the PMS chairman and also dissolved the PMS committee led by Auxiliary.
