Civil rights advocacy group, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, has called on the National Assembly to pass a vote of no confidence on the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.). Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has announced Delta State governor as his running mate for the 2023 presidential election. The Oodua Youth Parliament has called on the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu, to pick a Northern Christian as his running mate in the 2023 presidential election. Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has ordered the immediate commencement of payment of outstanding gratuity, monthly pension and death benefits for retirees in the State public service.
