Osun state governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has directed all political appointees contesting the 2023 general election to resign their appointments. This was contained in a release titled, ‘Notice to political appointees with interest to contest the 2023 general election’, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Oluwole Oyebamiji, obtained in Osogbo on Tuesday. The WHO said Tuesday it was struggling to deliver two generators to hospitals in the besieged Ukrainian port city of Mariupol, fearing the worst for its hard-hit health system.
