The Conference of Speakers of the State Legislatures of Nigeria has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare bandits and kidnappers as torrorists after brainstorming for about nine hours on how to end security challenges bedevilling the country. The forum disclosed this in a communiqué read by its Chairman and Speaker of Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Suleiman, Saturday evening…

The man had been under house arrest for drug crimes for several months…

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has commanded Manchester United to douse the blazing brilliance of Liverpool’s “on-fire” forward Mohamed Salah. The United manager knows Salah is capable of turning up at Old Trafford tomorrow and making a game-winning contribution, after scoring 12 goals in 11 games this season. Six of those goals have come in Salah’s last four games, including Champions League doubles against Porto and Atletico Madrid, and the Egypt international has only failed to net in one game this term: the 2-0 win over Burnley in August. Although Solskjaer said he would side with Cristiano Ronaldo in any debate about…

Ahead of this weekend’s games they are five points off leaders Chelsea and face a daunting clash on Sunday with in-form Liverpool. Liverpool, the only unbeaten side in the league, could stretch their advantage over United to seven points if they win. However, Solskjaer took heart from Wednesday’s come…
