The Imo State government has directed former governor Rochas Okorocha to present proof of ownership of an expanse of land in Orji, Owerri North local council, which allegedly hitherto belonged to Imo Broadcasting Corporation (IBC), before April 21, 2021 or forfeit it. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed that it plans to move its headquarters from Bwari Area Council to Central Area in the Federal Capital City (FCC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Nigerian Army yesterday denied reports that 101 soldiers and officers deserted the theatre of war after clashes with insurgents in Marte and Dikwa in Borno State. A statement signed by the Spokesman of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier-General Mohammed Yerima, said that the claim that 100 soldiers deserted the battlefield was unfounded.
