The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 says the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) will carry out 450 COVID-19 tests in each local government area of the country. The Federal Ministry of Education says no COVID-19 test is required for returning students to be admitted into their schools. The spokesperson of the ministry and Director, Press and Public Relations, Mr Ben Goong told newsmen in Abuja on Monday as schools resumed for academic session.
