Many people were injured after hoodlums clashed in the Ile-Epo area of Lagos State. Punch Metro gathered that a fight started in the market situated in the area on Wednesday night and continued till Thursday morning. Some shops were set on fire while some goods were destroyed in the process. Two students of Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Makoda, on Wednesday, drowned in Thomas Dam in Kano State while attempting to cross the dam in a boat. The Public Relations Officer, Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Abdullahi, confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday. He said the victims were identified as Abubakar Sanusi, 22, and Salisu Ado, 21.
