I am Abiola OBAYOMI Benjamin, a Writer by Grace, an Author: (Developing Yourself Spiritually), a Blogger (Fridayposts.Com), Director, School of Marriage at Centre for New Dimension Leadership, Abuja and a passionate Nigerian. I believe Nigeria will be great again, but the change we need in Nigeria begins with all of us doing things differently. Collectively, we can make Nigeria work.

I think it is high time we moved away from the story of Evans the billionaire kidnapper that has trended in almost all of the social media platforms and ask pertinent questions about the state of health of President Muhammadu Buhari. With all sense of modesty, I don’t think it would be out of place if Nigerians collectively put pressure on the authority to tell us whether Mr. President can continue to function in that office. I know the constitution allows him to be away for as long as possible provided he duly handed over the affairs of the nation…

There is a popular saying that……”don’t chase success, rather chase excellence, and success will follow you.” To be really successful in every area of our lives, excellence is one sure thing that we must embrace. When God made us, he made us excellently well. The bible says that “we are fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalms 139:14). There was no single error in you when God was carving you. Everything that God created are made with precision and excellence in His mind.(Genesis 1:1-10). So, our God is an excellent God, and we are made in His image, therefore we cannot exude…

By Dele Momodu Fellow Nigerians, I’m sure you’ll agree with me that this is a season of acute paranoia and schizophrenia in our dear beloved country. But we must not give up. We have more to gain in an atmosphere of peace and unity and more to lose in a condition of war and lawlessness. The past few weeks have brought out the bitterness and abject bigotry in some of us. I once read somewhere that “anger beclouds reasoning.” Seriously, nothing could be truer. I’m happy that a few bold and courageous Nigerians have risen up to the occasion in…

By Japheth Omojuwa If the rest of Africa expect Nigeria and South Africa to chart a pathway and provide some sort of economic leadership, they would have to look elsewhere for the time being. Africa’s two biggest economies, with a combined Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of nearly $800 billion are both in recession at the same time, for the first time ever in the modern history of the continent. The time of arrival at this recessive destination may be different for both Nigeria and South Africa, but the navigation patterns bear a striking resemblance. The combined forces of corruption, public…

By Dele Momodu Fellow Nigerians, I write movingly today because those who have the platforms to reach a mass audience should rise to rescue Nigeria from those hell-bent on unleashing stupendous terror and horror on our dearly beloved country. It is necessary for me to repeat some of my life history for people to understand the pain and anguish I feel about those toying with our very existence as a nation. I was not born with a silver spoon. I have willingly laboured more for myself and our country than I ever want to receive. I have suffered enough pains,…
