The world we live in today is driven by creativity. People daily come up with ideas, products, and services, looking for a platform through which these ideas, products, and services could be showcased. I remember several years ago how I struggled to get some of my ideas in written form to a larger populace simply because no platform could help me with it. I believe there are millions of people also, who have so much trapped inside of them; not knowing how they can showcase their ideas and products to the world. I bring you good news!!! Cordly.Ng is a…

In this article, I want to share with us very briefly what has been titled The Synergy That Drives Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness. I want to start by looking at the word ‘synergy’. What exactly does it mean? What exactly does it connote? Now, when you hear the word synergy, it simply means the interaction or cooperation of two or more elements, substances or other agents to produce a combined effect, greater than the sum of their separate effects. So, in a simple language, synergy simply means to work together or to collaborate to command greater effectiveness than it would…

Growing up, especially for me and the kind of background I happen to come from, was some sort of a rollercoaster. My parents were not that well-to-do and so, I saw first class, what it meant to be poor and how helpless it could be for parents when they couldn’t provide basic things for their children. We were just three, me, my younger sister, and my immediate elder sister. Many times, we went to bed not having anything to eat and waking up in the morning with no hope of food coming from nowhere. This period I am referring to…
Kazeem Olalekan The social media platform was awash this week with the presidential declaration speech of the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo. Though it has been in the news for a few days that the VP would also show an interest in succeeding retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari as the president of Nigeria, many a people, most especially those of the Bourdillon’s bullion van owner extraction were quick to dismiss it as mere rumour. Their excuse? They believe that the fact that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu identified Osinbajo’s achievements and found him worthy of being appointed the Attorney-General of…
In today’s podcast, I want to show us something very important that has been titled: Fusing Spiritual Fruit into Organizational Life and Leadership: An Integrated Approach. We want to examine how the fruit of the Spirit can find expression in organizational life and leadership and how it can help promote healthy organization growth and interactions among employees and the organization’s leadership. This is what the integrated approach talks about. Now, in Galatians 5:22-23, the Bible says: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Let us…

Marriage is one of those creations of God that Satan is actually interested in destroying. But the truth of the matter is that he can only try, he cannot destroy it because the works of God cannot be destroyed. Most marriages have experienced crisis at some point or the other. You only need to listen to testimonies of couples who have overcome their own marital crisis to know that crisis in marriage is not…
In this piece, I have some thoughts to share with us as leaders on the subject matter of diffused leadership or decentralized leadership, as some call it, especially as it relates to solving organizational inefficiency. I believe diffused leadership is a system of leadership that is common among leaders one way or the other, however, its impact in transforming organizational inefficiency is one area that many leaders are yet to explore yet. Now, the idea behind diffused leadership is very simple, and I quickly want to show us from this example in the Bible. In Exodus 18:13-27, the Bible says:…
