Onome Ebi, the Nigerian women’s football team captain, has made a move to join Bnot Netanya, a team in the prestigious Israeli Women’s Premier League.

Before this move, Ebi played three games for Naija Ratels in the Nigerian Women’s Football League (NWFL).
The 40-year-old defender returned to Naija Ratels at the start of the 2023-24 NWFL season after spending an impressive 15 years playing for clubs overseas. In her debut match for Naija Ratels against Nasarawa Amazons, Ebi made an impact by providing an assist.
Previously, she played for clubs in Belarus, China, and Spain.
