Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said goalkeeper Altay Bayindir will get his chances at the club as he continues to adapt to life in England.
However, Ten Hag is not in a hurry to introduce Bayindir despite another error-filled performance from Andre Onana.
Onana was at fault for Galatasaray’s first two goals in their 3-3 draw against Galatasaray in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
When asked during his press conference why he is yet to play Bayindir, a former Fenerbahce shot-stopper, Ten Hag replied: “We are very pleased with Altay, he gets used to the Premier League, he gets used to European football – which is tough when you’re coming from Turkey.
“But we are very pleased with that process, he’s doing very well.
“He has to be patient, but if he works well, if he keeps his progress, he will get his chances and then he has to take this.”
