Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has declared that he would be the “grandfather” of Rabiu Kwankwaso, the potential presidential candidate for the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), if he joins the APC.
Speaking to APC supporters in Kano, Ganduje stated that any individual who joins the APC becomes a follower and subordinate of the party’s national leader. He emphasized that those who have something to offer are the ones who welcome others, while those without anything to offer are the ones seeking entry.
Ganduje encouraged the NNPP to preserve their perishable fruits in a fridge, implying that they would spoil or rot in their current state. He referred to himself as the King, Sheikh, Modibbo, and Alanguburo in every state and Abuja.
Additionally, there are reports that President Bola Tinubu is working towards reconciling Ganduje and Kwankwaso, potentially as a precursor to the 2023 presidential election.
