The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has successfully uploaded more than 76% of the results from the Edo gubernatorial election onto its Result Viewing Portal (IREV).
According to Tribune Online, voters from all 18 local government areas of Edo State turned out in large numbers on Saturday to select a new governor to succeed the outgoing Godwin Obaseki.
At the time of reporting, a review of the IREV portal showed that 76.26% of the results had been posted. This equates to the results from 3,329 polling units out of a total of 4,519 units across the state.
