Tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup is the best MNF game this season, so you’ll want to read how I broke down both teams and made Monday Night Football predictions. In this Week 11 clash, we’re looking at a potential Game of the Year scenario as the Philadelphia Eagles go head-to-head with the Kansas City Chiefs, a Super Bowl rematch set in the electric atmosphere of Arrowhead Stadium. Both teams are expected to be back in the playoffs this season, and both squads’ Super Bowl odds indicate that they could face off once again this year.
There is plenty on the line, and neither team will want to drop a game, as the Dallas Cowboys aren’t far behind in the NFC East, while the Denver Broncos grabbed another win to stay within striking distance in the AFC West. In this article, I’ll give you my favorite Monday Night Football picks and explain how you can use them to receive $200 in bonus bets courtesy of BetMGM Sportsbook.

Now, the betting line over at BetMGM Sportsbook is favoring the Chiefs at -2.5, and here’s the lowdown. These are undeniably two powerhouse teams, with the most respected power rankings having both teams in the top 3 of the NFL. The Chiefs are the current favorites to win the Super Bowl, and only the San Francisco 49ers carry shorter odds than Philly in the NFC. Although both teams are elite, the Chiefs are led by Patrick Mahomes, who has a knack for delivering in high-pressure situations.
Digging into the stats, the Eagles have been one of the best teams in the NFL, with their only season loss occurring when star lineman Lane Johnson exited mid-game against the New York Jets. Since that loss, they’ve taken down the Dolphins, Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys but haven’t looked as dominant as they did to start the season. Their Week 9 win against Dallas came down to the wire, and if it wasn’t for late-game mistakes by Dallas QB Dak Prescott, Philly likely would be entering tonight’s game with two defeats.
On the flip side, the Chiefs boast a more resilient defense compared to the previous season, as evidenced by their clutch plays against the Miami Dolphins earlier in the year. KC is giving up just 15.9 PPG (second in the NFL), and they haven’t allowed more than 21 points in all four games at Arrowhead this season. This is an important point because Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid are showing they can win in different ways as this KC offense isn’t as explosive as previous years (23.1 PPG – 11th in the NFL).
It’s hard to ignore how good Reid is coming off the bye, as his squad is 22-3 in the regular season and 7-3 in the playoffs. The Chiefs played in Germany two weeks ago, so Reid even had a few extra hours to prepare on top of the bye. It’s all about ball control tonight, and I expect KC to put together long and methodical drives that should allow their defense to rest. If this game ends with both teams scoring ~20 points, which I think it will (Game Total = 45.5), I anticipate another win for Reid’s team off a bye.
Therefore, the first of my Monday Night Football predictions is on the Chiefs -2.5 (-115 at BetMGM).
If you’d rather bet on a player prop tonight, don’t worry because I targeted Jalen Hurts in the second portion of my MNF predictions. There are numerous viable approaches to consider when betting on Jalen Hurts player props on Monday night, and I’m targeting his rushing attempts.
Eagles TE Dallas Goedart will miss tonight’s game, and in the four games he missed last season, Hurts averaged 12.4 rushing attempts. The absence of his safety net seems to have influenced his inclination to take off when plays break down. Looking ahead to the current season, despite Hurts dealing with knee issues, the bye week should significantly improve his physical condition.
In bigger games this season, Hurts tends to rush more. In six out of eight games, he recorded 9+ carries, achieving double digits in five out of those eight games. Notably, the opponents against whom he rushed for double-digit carries include stronger teams like LAR, MIN, MIA, TB, and DAL, with four of them hailing from the NFC and MIA being a notable AFC contender. On the flip side, when he stayed under 10 carries, it was against teams like NE, WAS (twice), and NYJ.
Anticipating a primetime performance, I think Hurts will try to make a case for himself at the top of the MVP list, so the second one of my MNF picks is on Jalen Hurts O9.5 Rushing Attempts (-130 at BetMGM).
