Amlwch Town Football Club play their fixtures at Lon Bach Ground
North Wales Police is investigating an alleged assault on a linesman during a football match.
The incident is alleged to have taken place during Amlwch Town's 8-0 defeat by Penrhyndeudraeth in the North Wales Coast West Premier League on Saturday, 27 April.
Police are appealing for information after a video circulating on social media appeared to show an incident involving a member of Amlwch’s coaching team during the match.
North Wales Coast Football Association (NWCFA) has confirmed it has received a complaint and was also aware of a North Wales Police investigation.

Football Association of Wales is monitoring the situation, though chief executive Noel Mooney said on social media, external: “There is no room in football for this.”
BBC Wales has approached Penrhyndeudraeth FC for a statement. A spokesperson for Amlwch FC declined to comment due to the ongoing investigations.
