President Muhammadu Buhari has just been recognized and decorated with the Highest National Distinction of Liberia by the Liberian President George Weah. In a short video posted by the President, African Development Bank (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, the Liberian President was seeing decorating President Muhammadu Buhari in front of some crowd that has come to grace the occasion.

The Honor is Liberia’s highest honor “The Grand Cordon of the Knighthood of Venerable Order of the Pioneers.” The honor, according to garba Shehu, was for outstanding and distinguished service in international affairs, government, religion, art, science or commerce, and also for singular acts of philanthropy and deeds of heroism and valour.
Liberia is celebrating 172nd Independence Anniversary and President Muhammadu Buhari was among the distinguished guest of honor to grace the occasion. On the president’s entourage are: Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Kwara governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and others.
