Tottenham have ‘agreed a fee’ to sign Chelsea forward.
Spurs will sign Blues’ U21, Jude Soonsup-Bell, fending off competition from Manchester City in the process.
The 19-year-old is one of the highly rated players in Chelsea’s academy and is in the final six months of his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Soonsup-Bell has played one game for Blues’ senior team; he was on for 45 minutes in Chelsea’s Carabao Cup win at Brentford in December 2021.
Evening Standard reports that the 19-year-old will join Spurs who offered him a ‘long-term pathway to the first team via loans from next season.’
Tottenham were not the only club interested in the forward as the likes of Man City and some clubs outside the United Kingdom also made similar offers.
