Rangers assistant coach Alli Suleman has said their latest victory against Kano Pillars is crucial to the team’s aspiration this season.
Rangers secured a 4-1 victory over their visitors at the Awka City Stadium on Saturday.
Suleman said the win was crucial in the pursuit of their set goals in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
“This win means a lot towards achieving our set targets for the season,” he told the club’s media.
“We had to shrug of the early deficit and had a better second half where we killed off the game. We thank our supporters for being there for us even when we were behind.
“This is a very big win for us and we give God all the glory. It was a difficult match against a team with the immediate past coach of Rangers.”
Rangers currently occupy first position on the NPFL table.
