Former Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney has been banned from driving for two years after pleading guilty to a drink-driving offence that occurred earlier this month in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
Apart from the two years driving ban, the Everton star would also be performing 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12-month community order. Rooney was also ordered to pay £170 when he appeared at Stockport Magistrates’ Court.
Wayne Rooney, the father of three, is also England’s record goalscorer.
