Welcome to the channel. In this article, we’ll be looking at something that is important, whether you’re on the earth or you’re under the earth, wherever you are, as long as you’re on the earth, this article will impact your life. The truth is we live on the earth and many things that happen on the earth, sometimes as long as it doesn’t take place in our own local environment, like our country or our state, our city, we feel safe.
Now, what happens in a situation where what takes place on the earth impacts on everyone on the earth? In this video, we want to look at something that took place in the heavens, yet had and has been having tremendous impact on those of us that live on the earth today.
The heavens, the Bible says, belongs to God. And the earth, God has given to the children of men, the question somebody might be asking again is, “I live on the earth, what concerns me about the battle that took place in the heavens?”
But once we are done in the next few minutes, you will soon realize that even though the battle took place in the heavens, the impact is visible on the earth today. Whether you live in Europe, or you live in America, or you live in Africa, or you are in India, wherever you are on the Earth, the battle that took place in the heavens has an impact on you and I today.
So let’s quickly go to the Bible so that we can understand the battle that took place in the heavens and how it impacts our lives as a people on the Earth today. So let’s go straight into the Word of God. In Isaiah chapter 14, verse 12, the Bible began with this; “how you are falling from heaven. O Lucifer, son of the morning, how you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations.”
So, perhaps you are living somewhere on the earth today. You belong to a nation. The Bible says, he was the one who weakened the nations, “for you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds.”
“I will be like the Most High, yet you shall be brought down to Sheol to the lowest depths of the pit.” Look at it. Verse 16. “Those who see you will gaze at you and consider you saying, is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of its prisoners.” Now, if you look from verse 16 to verse 17, you will realize that the creature that the Bible was talking about, Lucifer, Was one that was responsible and is responsible for many things that happened across the nations of the earth today.
He’s not a citizen of the earth as it were. He is not a man in that form, but he was brought down to the earth and he has been taking the form of man. So, what I’m saying in this video in essence is, the whole earth, wherever you want to imagine it, from Asia to America, from Europe to Africa, would have been a better place if not for that creature that came down to the earth.
He didn’t come down in the time of peace. He came down as a result of war. He did not come down because he loved the earth. He came down because he was brought down. You know, when somebody commits a crime and the person is sent to the prison. And so imagine him being a very terrible person. Then, there will be problem for those who will become colleagues of his in that prison.
So, haven engaged in a battle in heaven, there was therefore no more space for Lucifer in heaven and so he was brought down to the earth. Now, let’s go to the book of Revelation chapter 12;
see what the Bible says; “And war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail. Nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out. That serpent of old called the devil and satan who deceives the whole world. He was cast to the earth and his angels were cast out with him. Verse 10. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now salvation and strength and kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ have come for the accuser of our brethren. Who accused them before our God day and night as being cast down, and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Verse 12. Very important. I want you to take very careful notice of every word I will be reading now. Therefore, because of what had happened, the Bible says; “therefore, rejoice, O heavens. And I’m sure many of us don’t live in the heavens. Even though some billionaires today would like to go into higher heavens.
But the Bible says, “Rejoice, O heavens. And you who dwell in them, woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Because he knows that he has a short time. That’s what we’ve read now. Isaiah chapter 14 verse 12 that we read up to verse 17 revealed to us something that took place.
Before war broke out, it became an idea in the mind of Lucifer, who was an archangel in heaven, to raise himself above the stars of God. He wanted to be like God. He wanted to raise a rebellion against God, who was the King and who is the King of the universe. Now, the moment the idea became something he began to execute, the Bible says war began in heaven.
Michael, who was also an archangel like Lucifer, began to engage the devil, the dragon, in battle. The Bible says the angels of Michael, that is the other colleagues of Michael, with the angels of the dragon, the other colleagues of the dragon, those who have sided with a dragon, those who have been deceived by the dragon, they engaged in warfare.
So what happened eventually was, there was a victory for Michael and the angels, and the dragon and his angels were defeated. In fact, they could no longer stay in the heavens. Since the dragon couldn’t win the battle; he was sent down. He was brought down. He was defeated in the heavens and brought down to the earth.
Now, the issue for us today is that haven come down from heaven. He didn’t come down peacefully, quietly. He came, We will call this with a big bang. He came with violence. He came for terror. He came with terror. That is why you would realize that wherever the dragon is today on the earth; wherever the angels of the dragon are today on the earth, there will be terrorism, there will be violence, there will be crimes, there will be evil, there will be problems.
Why? The Bible says “woe to the inhabitants of the earth. For the dragon has come down to you” and Bible says “he came down with great wrath.” This is what I want to share with us in this video. We are expected to walk in dominion as a people that follow Christ on the earth.
However we must be aware what we are facing? There was a war in the heavens, but the war has not ended in that sense. The devil that came down did not stop fighting. He could not win in the heavens. And his goal is to win on the earth.
He wants to win over men, win over the souls of men. He wants to win over the destinies of men. If he could not succeed taking over the throne of God, then he wants to take over the throne of men. Wherever people who are called by the name of God are, he wants to take over whatever they are doing for God and he wants to corrupt it.
He wants it to become useless for God’s glory. And this is why we have to be circumspect. We have to be careful. Knowing fully well that our adversary, the devil, he goes about moving to and fro all over the earth, looking for whom to devour, looking for whom to deceive.
We have to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us as we sojourn on the earth. We will not fall for him. The way he fell from heaven, we will not fall from grace. We will walk in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will follow Jesus. We will not be deceived. The Bible says he was the deceiver.
He was the accuser of the brethren and the one who deceived the whole earth. We will not be deceived by him. We will walk with God and we will fulfill our destinies. All right. I’m sure you have learned something looking at the battle in the heavens. You know I told us that this is going to affect us. There is no where on the earth today that can say the devil is not waging a war against. Haven been sent down from the heavens, he is fighting us in our cities.
So let us rise up. Our victory is in Christ Jesus. Let us fight a good fight in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ thank you for the gift of your time. I hope to connect and see you in the next piece. Till then, walk in dominion.
