Beloved, as far as this realm is concerned, there is nothing permanent therein. Whether it be riches or poverty, whether it be strength or weakness. Even the present knowledge or the level of ignorance being displayed by the children of men, the bible says they are all temporary.
2 Corinthians 4:18 says “the things which are already seen and experienced are all temporary” (paraphrase). For instance, you may be topping the chart right now as the best singer in the world, you may even be the richest man in the whole wide world right now – but all these are temporary experiences. Very soon, another singer may be at the top of that same chart, and anybody could come from the blues and become the richest man in the world.
That is to buttress that part of the scripture that nothing is permanent in life. Everything is temporary. Presidents come and go, the same applies to governors. Olusegun Obasanjo was once the President of Nigeria, today he is an ex president. Achievements are temporary, your academic prowess are temporary, even the life that you possess is not permanent – it would be for a while. Whatever it is on this part of the universe are all going to be for a while.
With this understanding, there is a way that humans ought to live their lives, knowing that all these things are passing away. It always baffles me when I see the way people live as if everything starts and ends here. God has made man, and has programmed eternity in his mind. There is a life after now, the spirit of man does not die; it goes somewhere after it transits this present realm. Don’t let the devil fool you that life starts and ends on earth, it is a deception from the pit of hell.
The bible says if only in this world we have hope, we are of all men most miserable. Whatever your experiences right now, whether palatable or unpalatable, they are all temporary. They will not remain like that forever. Keep your gaze on the God of heaven and earth, He will see you through. You don’t have to compare yourself with others while running your race. Remember the bible says those comparing themselves with themselves, they were fools (2 Corinthians 10:12). It isn’t wise to compare yourselves with others at this stage of your life because it’s every man for his own race and timing of manifestation. People you see manifesting right now are simply enjoying their timing. Remember God makes everything beautiful in his time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
No situation is permanent and your tomorrow will definitely be better than your today, hence, you don’t cut short what is in stock for you tomorrow by comparing yourself with others and wishing to run their race or be like them. Your time of manifestation is quite different from that of others.
Irrespective of what you are going through now, it could just be preparation ground to where God is taking you to. Some of us don’t even have some things right now because God is preparing us for a greater place and he is putting us through some tests that we will definitely need for our place of assignment. For this temporary troubles….are nothing to be compared to the joy that is set before us (2 Corinthians 4:17).
Do have a fabulous week ahead
