God is a Father and that tells you that He is family-centered. It is such an unfortunate situation because a lot of people have come to see God as some Deity who lives probably thousands and thousands of miles away up there in the sky, and is less concerned about the events that takes place on the face of the earth. To make the situation even more complex, there are people today who blame God for every trouble that is taking place in the world today.
But as much as God is God, He is also a Father who loves His children. God is our Father and we are His children. The reason a lot of folks aren’t enjoying the Fatherhood of God is simply because they haven’t come to embrace Him as one. It would be difficult for God to take up responsibility for you when you are not His child. Just the way I cannot walk up to your dad for instance; and ask him money for my school fees, the same way God cannot be responsible for you if you are not His.
There are two spiritual families, and hence; two spiritual fathers also exist and on whose side you belong, there you will enjoy your daily supply. The devil is a father as Jesus said in John 8:44. God also is a Father as Apostle Paul rightly put it in Ephesians 3:14. Why it appears you are not enjoying what God has made available for you is just because you haven’t fully entered into His family yet.
God unveils through the New Covenant that we can have a kind, loving, special relationship with Him that goes far past just admitting Him as the One who made us and who gives us helpful guidelines to make our lives blissful and whole. We are children in God’s eyes and enjoy the special connection and love only a father and his children can enjoy. John made it more succinct in 1John 3:1. It says “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.”
Just like the once popular MTN advert says that you can port from any network to the MTN Network, you can also port right now into the family of God and begin to enjoy the loving, warming relationship that God has towards His own children. All you need is faith in the finished works of Jesus on your behalf. John made us to understand that God gives the right to become children of God to all who in faith have received Christ as Lord and Savior John 1:12 says “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
What are you waiting for? All you simply need is to confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead (see Romans 10:8-10) then salvation is yours afterwards.
