For most sports lovers in Nigeria, this kind of headline is quite familiar. In every season, there are rules of engagement for players and clubs by sport administrators. Players and managers move from one club or league to another in search for either more playing opportunity or more money. The cycle is highly fluid that people hardly predict correctly what happens about transfers and outcomes in leagues.
2018/2019 Electoral Season began in Nigeria with so much drama, strategic alignments and strategic re-alignment of Politicians and party lords. We have witnessed the successful transfer of big guns from different teams between June 2018 and now. Men like Dr. Bukola Saraki, Atiku Abubakar, Dancer/Musician Dino Melaye and even the Uncommon Senator Godswill Akpabio among tons of transfers in the political market over the Months.
The question in the minds of many Nigerians is, “How will these numerous political transfers translate into peace, prosperity and progress for Nigeria in 2019?” Are these transfers worthy of our worries or are they mere jungle dance steps of animated men of interests and intrigues?
