Former Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh has warned the team to be wary of South Africa’s dangerous counter-attacking style when they face off in the AFCON semi-final.
Oliseh advises against allowing the game to go to a penalty shootout, referencing South Africa’s goalkeeper who saved four penalties in a recent match.
The last time the two teams met at the AFCON was in 2000, with Nigeria winning the semi-final 2-0.
