The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed 65 personnel to ensure orderliness during the re-run election in Bauchi State on February 3.
The personnel will work in collaboration with other security agencies to ensure the smooth conduct of the election and prevent any disruptions or security threats.
The election re-run was ordered by the Appeal Court in 42 polling units across four state assembly constituencies.
In addition to the FRSC personnel, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has distributed sensitive materials and trained over 200 ad-hoc personnel for the exercise.
The goal is to ensure free, fair, and credible elections while maintaining peace and order in the state.
