Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the re-appointment of Dr. Mohammed Isa Umar as Chairman of the Board of Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (GoHealth).
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, conveyed the Governor’s approval.
He announced as members: Abubakar Mohammed Tukulma, Bappah Kawu Hamma, Buba Galadima Kamo and Mohammed Aliyu Wayas, representing the Civil Society Organisations (CSOs)
Also appointed as Board members are the Permanent Secretaries of the Ministries of Justice, Health and Budget.
The rest are Yusuf Aish Bello, representing NLC; Dr. Mahdi Mohammed Bello, representing NMA, Isa S. Abubakar, representing TUC; Auwal representing NECA, Shuaibu Chiroma, representing the Office of the Head of Civil Service and the State Coordinator of NHIA, while GoHealth’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Abubakar Musa serves as Secretary.
In the same vein, the Governor approved the constitution of the Board of the Gombe Geographic Information Systems ( GOGIS), and appointed Professor James B. Kaltho as Chairman.

The SSG announced the following as members: Surv. Zakari Abubakar Difa,
Ado Gabanni, Philomina Jabuwa, Maikano Abdullahi (Hakimin Doma), Permanent Secretaries of the Ministries of Justice, Environment, Finance and Local Governments.
Other board members are Director Lands, Gombe State Surveyor-General and Director-General GOGIS, Dr. Kabiru Usman Hassan, while the Legal Adviser of the Agency will serve as Secretary.
All the appointments are with immediate effect.
