Your outcome in life is a function of what you see per time. It is quite an unfortunate thing that many people do not go far in life and destiny simply because they are not seeing the right things. There is so much power in vision. This is why the eye is a fundamental and necessary part of the body. A man without legs or hands but with functional eyes that is wide opened is a force that cannot be undermined. Take for instance; Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the United States of America. At some point in his life, he suffered from debilitating polio, but this did not end his political career.
The point I am trying to pass across is this. What we see with our eyes in life determines our outcome. If you are the type that perpetually sees failure, you will end up failing. On the other hand, if success is all you see, even amidst difficulties and challenges, then you will succeed.
Apostle Peter was actually walking on water to go to Jesus. But the moment he shifted his gaze away from Jesus, he began to sink. What probably was he thinking about? This was a man that had started walking on water towards Jesus and suddenly, he saw the wind boisterous and then was afraid. This tells you something. If you have lived your life in constant fear up to this point, then it means you have not been seeing the right things.
If your life have been characterized by whether you will fail or succeed in life and destiny, it means your attention and gaze has been shifted away from Jesus. The bible admonishes us always to look unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith. When you stop focusing your attention on Jesus like Peter did, the devil will simply shift your attention towards something else, towards the cares and frustration of this life which are not edifying.
Dear reader, see Jesus in every aspect of your life. Even if you are going through difficult times right now, still Jesus in it. When Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown in the fiery furnace, the bible recorded that Jesus was present with them in the fire. Your career may not be going in the right direction, see Jesus in it. Your academic records may be turning out disappointing, see Jesus also in it.
Your future may not even be forming shape right now as you have thought of it, still see Jesus in the journey. It is by deliberately and consciously doing this that the devil will not have a show around you. God bless you.
