The Buhari Diaspora Support Organisation has urged Nigerians to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari, saying the President has ended institutionalised corruption in the country.
In a statement in Owerri, the Imo State capital, on Thursday, the group’s chairman, Charles Sylvester, said the President had in less than four years created an enabling environment for the economic emancipation of the country through aggressive fight against corruption.
He said while the past administration encouraged looting of the public treasury, the current administration had declared war against corruption.
The statement read, “Muhammadu Buhari has no doubt restored the fading hope of many Nigerians who were subjected to institutional corruption, looting of our common wealth and impoverishment.
“In the past three years of this government, a lot of efforts have been made to create an enabling environment for the socio-economic and political development of our great country.
“Some of the achievements of the Buhari government include infrastructural development, agricultural revolution, the school feeding programme, loans to traders, improved power supply and many others.
“It is in recognition of this advancement by the Buhari/Osinbajo government that the Buhari Diaspora Organisation is calling on all Nigerians to support and vote President Muhammadu Buhari for continuity and stability of our great country.”
