The Nigeria government has confirmed 10 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number in the country to 22.
Stating this through its Twitter handle, @NCDCgov, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said of the 10, three were from the Federal Capital Territory, while seven were in Lagos.
It said: “Nine of the 10 cases have travel history outside Nigeria in the last one week. The 10th case is a close contact of a confirmed case.
“All new cases have mild to moderate symptoms, and are being managed at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital and Infectious Disease Hospital, Lagos.”
