– We are in the perilous times = A time when men are lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanders, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haugthy, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness without real power to show for it.
– We are in a season when men who have resisted the truth, men of corrupt minds who are disapproved concerning the truth, men who have made a living on the gospel by watering down its truth and twisting the mind of God concerning His will to the people, men who have neither a call, nor heritage in Christ will be exposed. Their folly will soon be made known to all who have considered them as wise men.
We must therefore examin and re-examine ourselves, lest we become part of these men above, lest we are removed from the heritage of Christ and exposed in shame, instead of revealed in glory.
Remember the word of the Lord: Every tree (pastor, minister, priest) that my Father in heaven has not planted (called, appointed, anointed and sent) shall be uprooted (from the church in shame). May God help us all!
