President Buhari’s Health: Why Is Everything Done in Secrecy?

Nigeria is surely not an island and Nigeria is not existing out of time; hence we cannot claim to be ignorant of what is done else outside of shores.

In many nations of the world, the health of the leaders is the “cup of tea” of the people. And in most cases, nations are led to prayers for the health and quick recovery of their leaders. However, in Nigeria, Nigerians find it hard to pray for the President – cause they do not know how he feels and his state of health.

In UK sometime ago, there were concerns over the health of the Queen of England; however, overtime, her health got better. I am not sure the people of England wanted her to die; neither do I think Nigerians want President Buhari to die. What is expected of the Presidency is to connect Nigerians with their leader – not creating more gaps!images (8)

In 2016, President Muhammadu Buhari went abroad on leave to be attended to by Nose, Ear and Throth Physicians. The question is, “Is Mr President healed of that infection?” If the answer is no, then the Presidency shouldn’t be saying that Mr President is not sick!

Why on earth should the Presidency thrives on been economical with the required information over the health of Mr President? If Mr President got sick along the way as the Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; one would expect that he should be treated when sick.

In my opinion, the state of health of Mr President should not become a porn on the chess table of some people in the Presidency! I rest my case!
