Muhammadu Buhari GCFR (born 17 December 1942) is the President of Nigeria, in office since 2015. He is a retired Major General in the Nigerian Army and previously served as the nation’s Head of State from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985, after taking power in a military coup d’état. The term Buharism is ascribed to the Buhari military government.
He unsuccessfully ran for the office of President in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 general elections. In December 2014, he emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the March 2015 general elections. Buhari won the election, defeating the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. This marked the first time in the history of Nigeria that an incumbent president lost to an opposition candidate in a general election. He was sworn in on 29 May 2015.
Buhari has stated that he takes responsibility for anything over which he presided during his military rule, and that he cannot change the past. He has described himself as a “converted democrat”.
Early life
Muhammadu Buhari was born on 17 December 1942, in Daura, Katsina State, to his father Adamu and mother Zulaihat. He is the twenty-third child of his father. Buhari was raised by his mother, after his father died when he was about four years old.
He attended primary school in Daura and Mai’adua before proceeding to Katsina Model School in 1953, and to Katsina Provincial Secondary School (now Government College Katsina) from 1956 to 1961.

Moving ahead in this article, I must share with us a portion of the Bible, here is what was said:
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Numbers 23:19
If you look through those words above, you would realize that God is not man – For if He was and is a man; He would lie! Plain and simple – Men lies!
The question I would simply ask every Nigerian is this: Is President Muhammadu Buhari a Man or an Angel? Should you agree that he is a man; then I must tell you very bluntly that Mr President could lie!
In Nigeria, due to the media propaganda of the 2015 election period; many Nigerians have come to believe that everyone around General (Mr) Muhammadu Buhari could be corrupt, except him. While this may be true, it is hardly so!
Just at the closing 2016, Nigerian Senate asked Mr President to sack the SGF on the account of corruption (lying over money); and they equally rejected his choice man for the seat of the Chairman of EFCC on the account of corruption too.
Immediately, Mr President setup a committee under the Attorney General of the Federation to investigate the cases. Eventually, Mr President sent two letters back to the Senate; clearing the SGF of corruption and the Acting EFCC of corruption.
The question many Nigerians are now asking is: Was the Security Report of DSS fake or wrong? or Did Mr President decide to overlook the claims of the report – while insisting on his choice men?
It has been said that those who come to equity must come with clean hands. Is it by force to serve Nigeria in any form or capacity? NO! Is it compulsory for Mr Magu and Mr Babachir David Lawal to be around Mr President? Will Nigerians – both the corrupt and the innocent, trust Mr President’s fight against corruption when he is seeing as one who is biased and sentimental? I rest my case for now!
