The Deputy Governor of Ondo, Mr. Lasisi Oluboyo has accused the All Progressives Congress of wooing the voters with money in the ongoing state governorship election.
Oluboyo who voted at Oke Ikadun Ward 1, Unit 08 in Ikare Akoko in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State, alleged that some chieftains of the APC chieftains were carrying money about to pay some voters money in order to buy their votes.
He said, ” In my area here and with the report I have got so far, the election has been going on smoothly, no violence in our domain here, the turnout has been impressive.
“But we have it that some APC leaders in this area have been paying voters to buy their votes. This is not good for our democracy. “
