Mr. Hezekiah Gbadegesin has been named the Acting Registrar/ Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology, pending the appointment of a substantive CEO by the Federal Government.
He takes over from Dr. Ighodalo Ijagbone, who completed his second tenure on March 31, 2016.
Gbadegesin, until now, was the Assistant Registrar and Director, Education, Training and Inspectorate.
The Head, Public Relations of the institution, Mr. Christopher Adeyanjie, made this known in a statement obtained by our correspondent on Monday.
Gbadegesin, an Otu, Oyo State-born educationist, attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. He had earlier worked at the Federal Ministry of Health as the Chief Laboratory Scientist.
He joined the NISLT in 2015 as an assistant registrar and director, education, training and inspectorate.
A recipient of the Presidential National Youth Service Corps award in 1992/93, Gbadegesin is married and he has children.
