Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday visited Kaduna State and held a meeting with religious and community leaders in Southern Kaduna.
“It’s a first in a series of meetings I intend to hold with the community. Today’s meeting is just the beginning,” Osinbajo tweeted after the meeting.
“I will return to meet each group separately and then meet all groups together again.”
The Acting President commiserated with the families and relatives of all those who were killed in the violence that rocked the area and appealed for calm.
He also thanked Governor Nasir El-Rufai for hosting the meeting at the Government House.
I expressed condolence in person on behalf of the Buhari administration to all those who have lost lives.
